Savi Coliving – Terms & Conditions
Last updated 23rd June 2025
By booking and staying at Savi, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. These are in place to ensure clarity, fairness, and a respectful living environment for everyone.
1. Nature of the Stay
Savi is a shared living and working environment. It is not a hotel, medical facility, retreat, or long-term tenancy.
Stays are temporary, community-based, and governed by these Terms & Conditions rather than residential tenancy law.
2. Personal Responsibility & Insurance
Guests are responsible for their own health, wellbeing, and insurance during their stay.
We strongly recommend that all guests hold valid travel or personal insurance covering:
• medical care
• accidents or injuries
• interrupted stays
• recovery-related costs
Savi does not provide personal insurance and cannot act as an insurer on a guest’s behalf.
3. Health, Accidents & Injuries
While reasonable care is taken to maintain the property, shared living involves movement, weather, and day-to-day activity, and accidents can occur.
If an accident or injury happens:
• Savi may assist with practical support such as arranging transport or local information.
• Medical care and follow-up are the responsibility of the guest.
• A medical discharge or clearance means the guest is considered fit to continue normal activity at their own pace.
Unless negligence is formally established, accidents do not transfer financial or accommodation responsibility to Savi.
4. Accommodation Fees & Payments
Accommodation fees are due as agreed and continue regardless of illness, injury, or personal circumstances.
Where guests have insurance, recovery of costs related to disrupted plans or recovery time is normally handled through the guest’s insurer rather than through the accommodation.
Savi does not offer open-ended refunds, discounts, or extensions related to recovery or personal circumstances.
5. Extensions, Early Departures & Changes
Any change to a booking, including extensions or early departures:
• is subject to availability
• must be agreed in advance
• must be confirmed in writing
Being in recovery does not create an automatic right to extended or free accommodation.
6. Community Living & Conduct
Guests are expected to:
• respect shared spaces and other residents
• communicate openly and respectfully
• take responsibility for their own belongings and behaviour
Savi reserves the right to end a stay early if behaviour significantly disrupts the community, violates house guidelines, or creates an unsafe environment.
7. Liability
Savi is not responsible for:
• personal injury or illness
• loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings
• disrupted plans, missed work, or indirect losses
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded under Spanish law.
8. Support & Boundaries
Care, assistance, or flexibility offered by Savi is provided in good faith and does not imply legal responsibility or admission of fault.
Clear boundaries allow Savi to remain fair, sustainable, and present for the community as a whole.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Spanish law.
Any disputes will be handled in the jurisdiction applicable to the location of the property.
10. Early Departure & Refunds
All stays at Savi Coliving are reserved exclusively for the guest and are non-refundable once the stay has begun. If a guest chooses to leave early for any reason, unused nights are not automatically refunded. In the event that the room is successfully rebooked for the unused period, a refund may be issued only for the nights that are relet, minus any applicable fees or costs. Deposits are refundable subject to a standard room condition check. By confirming a booking and checking in, guests acknowledge and accept these terms.
11. Acceptance
By confirming a booking or staying at Savi, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
Health, Safety & Insurance Policy
We care deeply about the wellbeing of everyone who stays here, and we do our best to create a safe, supportive, and respectful living environment. At the same time, Savi is a shared living space, not a hotel, medical facility, or retreat, and it’s important that expectations are clear for everyone.
Personal Responsibility & Insurance
All guests are responsible for their own health, wellbeing, and insurance during their stay.
We strongly recommend that all guests have valid travel or personal health insurance that covers:
• medical treatment
• accidents or injuries
• interruptions to travel or accommodation
• recovery time or alternative accommodation if needed
Savi does not provide personal insurance coverage and cannot act as an insurer on a guest’s behalf.
Accidents & Injuries
Shared living spaces naturally involve movement, weather, and day-to-day activity. While we take reasonable care to maintain the property, accidents can happen.
If a guest experiences an accident or injury during their stay:
• We will assist with practical support where reasonable, such as helping arrange transport to medical care or providing local information.
• Medical assessment and follow-up care are the responsibility of the guest.
• A medical discharge or clearance means the guest is considered fit to continue normal activity at their own pace.
Unless negligence is formally established, accidents do not transfer financial or accommodation responsibility to Savi.
Accommodation & Payment
Accommodation fees continue as agreed, even in the event of illness or injury.
In cases where guests have insurance, recovery of costs related to injury, recovery time, or disrupted plans is normally handled through the guest’s insurer rather than through the accommodation.
Any changes to bookings, extensions, or early departures are handled according to the agreed terms and must be confirmed in writing.
Recovery & Extensions
Being in recovery does not automatically create a right to extended or free accommodation.
Any extension of stay is:
• voluntary
• subject to availability
• agreed in advance
• chargeable at the normal rate
Savi is not able to provide open-ended accommodation related to recovery or personal circumstances.
Care & Boundaries
We aim to respond to difficult situations with care, kindness, and respect. Offering support does not imply legal responsibility or admission of fault.
Clear boundaries allow us to remain fair, sustainable, and present for everyone in the house.
By confirming your stay, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own insurance and wellbeing, and that Savi cannot assume liability for personal injury, illness, or recovery-related costs.
